The Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery’s purpose is to ensure the protection and development of its members’ rights in their area of expertise and to contribute to the improvement of health services offered to the society in the field of colorectal surgery.
It aims to organize educational and research activities in the field of colorectal surgery, to contribute to the establishment of patient care standards and domestic policies, to carry out works to make sure that the society is protected from colorectal diseases in the most effective way, and that the patients are treated in the most effective way.
Defining the standards of colorectal surgery practices is among the purposes of the association. The Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery cultivates professional, scientific and social relations among its members in order to achieve the aforementioned goals.
