Clarification Text on Personal Data Protection Law
TSCRS (Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery), can use the information submitted by members and visitors through the website in accordance with the provisions of the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms of Use" established under the Personal Data Protection (Law) No. 6698. In this context, it can process personal information of visitors and members in accordance with the purpose specified in the Law.
Collecting, Processing, and Sharing of Personal Data
In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698, your personal data (name, surname, date of birth, e-mail, telephone number, gender, address, profession, education) may be requested from you, which will enable our society to fulfill its purpose and legal obligations. These personal data will be processed based on your explicit consent, taking necessary measures for information security, shared with the institutions we cooperate with and protected. TSCRS can statistically evaluate personal information especially which parts of the site the members and visitors visit, domain type, browser type, visit date, time etc. These can be used for purposes such as announcing non-commercial organizations and providing personal non-commercial services. Although our society takes the necessary measures for information security, in the event that personal data is damaged as a result of attacks on the website and the system and / or is obtained by third parties, our society will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.
As a rule, personal information belonging to visitors and members is not shared with natural and legal persons who are not affiliated with the Society. However, exceptionally, it can be shared with these authorities upon the request of the agencies authorized by law.
Rights of Data Subjects
According to the Article 13 of the Law, the data subject can always contact Society headquarters through the contact information on our website in order to inquire about their information registered in our website database or to correct, update, request erasure of their personal data and to obtain information about the purposes for which their personal data is processed. Requests for erasure of personal data will be subject to proper legal and ethical reporting or document filing or retention obligations with which we must comply.
Personal Data Belonging to Minors
No area of the site is designed to attract the attention of persons under 18 years of age. TSCRS does not aim to collect identifiable personal information from individuals under the age of 18 without the consent of their parents. If such a situation is detected, you can contact our Society headquarters.
Force Majeure
In all cases that are legally regarded as force majeure, TSCRS cannot be held responsible for late or non-performance of this "Clarification Text" and "Terms of Use and Privacy Policy". In this and such cases, TSCRS will not be liable for any compensation.
